Superintendent Finance Committee

In September 2016, the District formed three, short-term Superintendent committees: the Strategic Plan Committee, the Enrollment Committee, and the Finance Committee. In 2017, the Enrollment Committee was reformed as the Boundary Committee. The purpose of each of these committees was to study specific issues that affect Community Consolidated School District 89.

These committees were open to residents of CCSD 89. Committee members include: students, families, staff, Board members, and local residents. All committees are advisory and any recommendations are non-binding. All final decisions are made by the Board of Education.

In April 2018, many of the members of the Finance Committee joined the Community Engagement Committee. This committee will work to engage all CCSD 89 residents in a process that will help set the financial direction of the district.
