Latest news: The district issued the latest update for guidance on when to keep students home from school, based on update information from the Illinois Department of Public Health. A chart is available here: https://bit.ly/3ClcPOj
All five CCSD 89 schools will continue to have increased ventilation, frequent cleaning, and multiple hand sanitization stations throughout the buildings. Masks will continue to be optional for all students and staff. Guests will be welcome in the buildings. All extracurricular activities will take place as usual.

Join CCSD 89 in donating to Make-A-Wish
The district has once again set a goal to raise at least $5,000. Altogether, the district has raised more than $28,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois.

“SnapCodes” used for April 5 registration will begin arriving in the mail
It is important that families hold onto this letter because the SnapCode will be needed when registration opens at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 5.

The event will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Glen Crest Middle School. The Glen Crest gym will be filled with families sharing their cultural heritage.

Families interested in having their child start CCSD 89 preschool in the 2023-24 school year can now load application documents.

CCSD 89 Board approves 2023-24 school year calendar
The first day of the 2023-24 school year for students will be Wednesday, August 23. The last day of the 2023-24 school year will be May 29, 2024, if no emergency days are used.

Community members can support the urgent need for blood by donating between 2 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at Glen Crest Middle School.

College of DuPage students will help prepare tax forms from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Park View Elementary School.

All buildings will be open on a regular schedule on Tuesday, February 21.

Experienced administrator will be next Glen Crest Middle School principal
Brett McPherson was approved as the next Glen Crest principal during the Board of Education meeting on Monday, January 23. He will start on July 1.
