HELLO! ¡Bienvenidos! I have been teaching in Community Consolidated School District 89 since 2001. Currently, I teach English Learning students at Glen Crest Middle School.
Working with students and families who speak languages other than English is my passion as an educator. Helping students acquire and improve their English language skills while empowering them to succeed in the classroom is my mission. I look forward to having a great school year!
Education: Bachelor of Science - 1993, Master's in Curriculum & Instruction - 1997, ESL Endorsement - 2008, ESL Bilingual Endorsement - 2015, Middle School Endorsement - 2017. I am currently completing coursework towards a Principal's Administrative Certificate.
