Mr. Andrew Ladendorf

Andrew Ladendorf has been teaching orchestra in CCSD 89 since 2012. He is currently on staff at all five district buildings. Starting in 2003, Mr. Ladendorf taught students in the northern Illinois communities of Freeport, Des Plaines, and Naperville before coming to CCSD 89. Mr. Ladendorf received his Bachelors Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and has completed two Master’s Degrees from the University of Illinois and Concordia University Chicago.

In CCSD 89, Mr. Ladendorf teaches fourth through eighth-grade string lessons, fourth grade Primo Orchestra, fifth grade Prelude Orchestra, sixth grade Intermediate Orchestra, 7th/8th grade Concert Orchestra, and Glen Crest Spartan Strings. Outside of school, Mr. Ladendorf performs with the Titan String Quartet and teaches private violin and viola lessons.

At home, Mr. Ladendorf enjoys cooking and is active as both a swimmer and a cyclist. He is an avid lighthouse aficionado of the Great Lakes and enjoys traveling in Wisconsin and Michigan. He lives in Wheaton with his wife, two daughters, and three dogs.
