Ms. Payne

I joined district 89 in 2022 and have been teaching since 2017. This year, I am teaching 6th grade STEM and 6th grade science.

I grew up in Glen Ellyn and completed my undergraduate degree at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For my first five years of teaching, I taught 8th grade math and Algebra 1 on the northwest side of Chicago. In 2022, I earned my masters in Mathematics Education from Depaul University. Additionally, I have my ESL license from National Lewis. 

Outside of teaching, I coach volleyball, love staying active and reading! I'm thrilled to be teaching in my hometown and looking forward to a great year!
