COVID-19 notifications
-
Update (July 2022): Schools will no longer email a weekly update of the number of COVID-19 cases. COVID-19 cases will be tracked internally, in the same manner that school nurses track other infectious diseases such as measles or the flu. Families will only be notified if there is a classroom outbreak or if their student was a close contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Parents are asked to call the school nurse if your student is: COVID-19 positive, in quarantine because they were a close contact, or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
The district works with the DuPage County Health Department to conduct contact tracing for any staff or students who may be directly affected.
Staff or families of students who have had close contact (defined as within three feet for 15 minutes cumulatively) will be contacted with instructions on whether you need to quarantine. If you do not receive a communication, you are not a close contact. If you have further questions, please reach out to your building principal.
The district reviews school data with the DuPage County Health Department.
