Meet our staff
Mrs. Rosemary O'Connell Library Director firstname.lastname@example.org
I am elated to be working as Glen Crest’s librarian! A native of Minnesota and graduate of St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, I have been a Chicago-area resident and Chicago sports fan for more than 25 years. I have experience at the elementary, middle, and high-school levels, and received my Masters of Library and Information Science from Dominican University in 2014. I joined Glen Crest in 2015.
My husband and I are the parents of two adult sons. In addition to cheering on the Bears, in my free time I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, attend plays, walk my dog, and READ!

I am so excited to be working full time in the library this year! Last year I worked half in the front office, half in the library. I love giving book recommendations out to the students, making displays, and hearing how the students liked the books they’ve read.
I grew up in Lombard, graduated from NIU, and currently live in Glen Ellyn with my husband, my daughter, and our two cats. I am very crafty, love to make cards, and various things-especially for different holidays. Halloween is my favorite, so something is always added to the inside and outside of the house for it! I love traveling, hanging out with my friends and family, and of course reading!
Katie Holleman Library Aide firstname.lastname@example.orgI'm new to Glen Crest this year and I'm so excited to be here! I get to spend half of my day in the library and the other half in the main office. I've really been enjoying meeting and getting to know the students and the staff!I grew up in Forest Park and I've lived in Lombard for about 16 years. My husband and I have 3 kids - one in college, one in high school, and one in middle school. We also have 2 dogs and a cat, so we have a very busy household! In my free time, I love hanging out with my family and my kids, cooking, baking, and watching football. I also LOVE reading and I'm looking forward to working my way through our library collection :)
