Mrs. Propst

Mrs. Propst has been teaching at Glen Crest since 2002. Mrs. Propst graduated the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in history, and then earned a JD in law from The John Marshall Law School. After a short career in law, she returned to college for a teaching certificate through North Central College in Naperville. After spending time in elementary, middle, and high schools, she quickly realized she loved the middle school age and focused her career at this level.

She has since earned a master's degree in teaching and leadership from St. Xavier University in 2006. Extensive literature courses in college - as well as writing courses in both college and law school - gave Mrs. Propst a strong foundation for teaching reading and writing to middle school students.
