Thirty-one band and orchestra students were honored for outstanding musical performances at the Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGMSA) solo and ensemble contest. The event was held Saturday, February 21, in Carol Stream.
The students honored are:
First place string quintet ensemble: Division 1 rating
Violins - Audrey Hiscock (8th grade) and Grace Williamson (7th grade); viola - Mila Fousias (8th grade); cello - Hope Loney (7th grade) cello, and bass - Wyatt Lilly (8th grade)
First-place solos: Division I rating
