Mr. Jacob Boyko

Educator since 2020 in multiple districts across DuPage County. A graduate of Elmhurst College in 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology/K-12 Education. Furthermore, from Elmhurst College I received 3 minors: Health, Psychology, and Coaching. I am excited about continuing my education as a lifelong learner.

My personal tenets for teaching have been having high expectations, creating a warm environment, and adapting to student needs. I would say my favorite memory as an educator would be teaching PE class with All-Pro linebacker, Roquan Smith of the Chicago Bears. I enjoy making PE a memorable and favorable experience for every single student. Every day, I continue to apply my philosophy as an educator and coach to improve students' various facets of wellness, such as physicality, spirituality and cognitive domains. I can't wait to get to school to display the best games for fair and fun learning for our students to discover lifelong healthy habits. I always like to say, "Maximize game time, limit the transition time"!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy time with my dog, friends/family, sports related activities, movies and eating awesome food!
