Briar Glen Elementary school Principal Mitch Dubinsky has worked in education since 2001.
Dubinsky started his career in Niles at East Maine School District 63, where he taught fourth- and fifth-grade for six years. After earning a Master's Degree in Literacy and an ESL endorsement, Dubinsky went on to earn his administration certificate. Dubinsky served as the assistant principal at Euclid Elementary School in Mount Prospect for four years.
Dubinsky reached his ultimate goal of becoming a principal in 2011. He is thrilled he achieved this goal at Briar Glen Elementary School in Community Consolidated School District 89. He is looking forward to another successful year at Briar Glen.
Dubinsky lives in Nortbrook with his wife Jennie and their seven children: Brandon, Matthew, Elianna, Elissa, Tyler, Dylan and Raegan. He enjoys spending a lot of time with his family at parks, taking vacations, playing board games, and - most of all - at sporting events (White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks, or Bears games).
