Mrs. Brigid Haun

Mrs. Haun joined District 89 in 2024 and received her degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  While attending U of I, she was a member of the trumpet section in the Marching Illini, Volleyball Band, and Basketball Band. Mrs. Haun has taught music since 2013 to students in every grade from kindergarten through high school but elementary students are the age she loves teaching the most.

Mrs. Haun grew up in the western suburbs and recently moved back to the area with her husband and two sons. She loves to go on bike rides, read books, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Some of her other favorite things include: Harry Potter, the Chicago White Sox, and singing and playing ukulele.
