Natalie Filas

Hello! My name is Ms. Filas and I am so excited to be your student's 3rd grade teacher! 

I graduated from Elmhurst University in 2021 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education as well as an endorsement in Teaching English Learners. After graduation, I taught 5th grade for a year in Wheaton and decided to make the switch to 3rd grade for my second year of teaching. 3rd grade was always my favorite year of elementary school, so I cannot be more excited about having third graders of my own! 

I grew up in Saint Charles my whole life and I just recently bought a townhome in the same neighborhood I grew up in. Outside of school, I love being outdoors, going to coffee shops, spending time with loved ones, and baking. 

I believe in building strong relationships with not only my students, but their families as well. It is so important to me that we build a strong unit for your child to lean on throughout the year and to share common goals to help your student thrive!
