December will be filled with musical performances as Community Consolidated School District 89 students share their talent and hard work with the community. All the events are free, and community members are welcome to attend.
December 12: Glen Crest chorus at Glen Crest Middle School
At 7 p.m. Friday, December 12, the Glen Crest chorus will hold its winter chorus concert at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn.
December 16: Glen Crest jazz band at Glenbard South
At 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 16, the Glen Crest Middle School jazz band will perform in the Glenbard South jazz concert at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.
December 17: CCSD 89 orchestra concerts at Glenbard South
The winter orchestra concerts will be held on Wednesday, December 18, at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn. The fifth- and sixth-grade orchestras will play at 6 p.m. The Spartan Strings and concert orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m.
December 18: CCSD 89 band concerts at Glenbard South
The CCSD 89 winter band concerts will be held on Thursday, December 18, at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn. The fifth-grade band will perform at 6 p.m., followed by the sixth-grade band at 7 p.m. The seventh-and-eighth-grade band will perform at 8 p.m.
