A few reminders about Halloween at school:
Elementary students can wear costumes after lunch; middle school students can dress up all day.
Elementary school costumes should be brought in a bag, and students can change before the school parade begins. If possible, costumes should fit over a student’s clothes. There is not time for make-up or hairspray.
Student costumes should be non-violent and age-appropriate. No student should bring a pretend weapon to school.
Food will not be a part of in-school classroom celebrations. Celebrations can still include other small, non-food items such as stickers or pencils. Water will continue to be available to students throughout the school day, including during holiday parties.
