Mr. Brendan Altieri

I have been teaching in District 89 since 2021. While I was growing up in Arlington Heights, Illinois, I always participated in the musical activities at my schools. Music was always my favorite class in elementary school. I started playing trombone in fifth grade and continued playing through college. I graduated from Wheaton College in 2020 with a degree in music education. After graduating, I worked as a second-grade teacher assistant in Wheaton. 

My favorite part about being a music teacher is the opportunity to connect with the same kids year after year.
