Penny Wars raised more than $2,300 to support student mental health
Thank you to all the families who contributed to the Penny Wars fundraiser. Across the district, there were 24,283 coins donated, including: 2,552 quarters; 2,817 dimes; 2,230 nickels; and 17,082 pennies.
In total, students raised $2,339.02!
All the donations will go to the Child Mind Institute (https://childmind.org/), the charity that was selected by more than 55 percent of students across the district. The Child Mind Institute is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders.
Principals announced the grade-level winners at each school in their school newsletter.
