Author Mary Beth Keane will headline April 18 GECRC fundraiser

This year’s Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center Literary Event will feature author Mary Beth Keane. Keane is the author of New York Times bestseller “Ask Again, Yes” and the upcoming novel “The Half Moon”. All of the proceeds from the April 18 event will benefit GECRC, which provides afterschool tutoring to CCSD 89 students.

Tickets are $80 in advance or $90 at the door, and include light bites and a beverage. A cash bar and raffle items will also be available. The event takes place 6:30 to 9 p.m., on Thursday, April 18 at Glen Oak Country Club, 21W451 Hill Avenue, Glen Ellyn, IL.

The event is held in partnership with The Bookstore of Glen Ellyn and the Glen Ellyn Bank & Trust.
