February 22 “Talking 89” session will focus on safety, family involvement

The next “Talking 89” sessions with CCSD 89 Superintendent Doug Eccarius will be held at 9:30 a.m. and at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, in the district office, 22W600 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.

These sessions are an opportunity for families and community members to connect with the superintendent on issues in the school district. The content at both meetings will be identical.

The February 22 sessions will be focused on student safety and parental involvement. Eccarius will share information about the district’s safety work and solicit feedback on how schools can continue to be welcoming places for families.

This listening session is open to anyone. Reservations are not required but if you plan to attend, an RSVP is requested so that seating can be prepared.

This is the second of three “Talking 89” sessions in the 2024-25 school year.
