LEGO Robotics Club open to fourth-, fifth-grade students

Students in fourth and fifth grades can join a new LEGO Robotics Club at their school. The free club will run from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursdays for four weeks. Students will build LEGO robots, then complete coding challenges.

The Club will run on the following dates:

• Arbor View: January 10 - February 1

• Briar Glen: February 7 - 29

• Park View: March 6 - April 4

• Westfield: April 10 - May 2

Fliers with information about how to sign up for each school’s LEGO Robotics Club will be sent home prior to the start of the club.

Parents will have to pick up students at 4:30 p.m., when the club is finished for the day. Students will use their school Chromebook at the club but will not need any other supplies.

There are a limited number of openings at each school. If there are more students registered than open spaces, a lottery will be used to select students.
