“SnapCodes” used for April 5 registration will begin arriving in the mail
Families should soon receive a letter with an individualized “SnapCode” that will be used to register for the 2023-24 school year. Letters with the SnapCodes will be sent to the family of new and returning students via U.S. mail starting the week of March 13.
(Families of current eighth-grade students will receive information about registering for high school from the district they will attend.)
It is important that families hold onto this letter because the SnapCode will be needed when registration opens at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 5. Anyone who loses their SnapCode before registration will need to prove residency at the district office. You can see the documents you will need to prove residency here: https://www.ccsd89.org/Page/8699
A dark green 2023-24 registration button will be activated at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, on the district’s registration page at that time. Families will use their SnapCode to complete registration at that link.
Parents are encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible after April 5 to allow the district to plan for staffing and facility needs.
If you do not receive a SnapCode by Monday, April 3, you will need to call the district office to set up a time to prove residency.
