Learning resources, summer library for your student during the summer
The district has allowed students to keep Chromebooks and iPads at home over the summer so students will continue to have opportunities to explore the apps on those devices.
While there are no required lessons over the summer, the CCSD 89 teaching staff has created a webpage with additional educational websites that your student can use safely. There are webpages in different subjects at each grade level.
This summer, all CCSD 89 students are encouraged to keep reading and writing!
All CCSD 89 students are encouraged to read or write for 30 minutes each day as part of the summer reading program. CCSD 89 is partnering with the Glen Ellyn Public Library to make books available. If students keep a log of their reading, they will earn a prize when they return to school in the fall.
