Measles prevention guidance for schools and child care centers from DuPage County Health Department
The DuPage County Health Department has asked all local school districts to share information about measles prevention with families. There has been no measles outbreak in CCSD 89.
There has been an ongoing increase in measles cases in the U.S. across several states (including Illinois), largely due to cases among persons from the U.S. and abroad who were either unvaccinated or with unknown vaccination status. Due to the presence of measles in our region, the DuPage County Health Department would like to make you aware of important and timely prevention measures to help keep our schools and child care centers safe, open, and operational.
