Support the students, teachers by eating at Buona Beef on August 29

Buona Beef flier You can support Community Consolidated School District 89 students and get a tasty meal by eating at the Glen Ellyn Buona Beef between 10:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday, August 29. That day, the Buona Beef at 395 Roosevelt Road will donate 20 percent of every sale to the CCSD 89 PEP Fund, which supports students and teachers.

Anyone who visits Buona Beef on August 29 should bring the CCSD 89 Buona Beef flier, or show the flier on their phone. The flier can be found here: Buona Beef flier.

Dine-in, carryout, and drive-thru orders are eligible. Catering orders that are placed and picked-up that day will also contribute to CCSD 89.

The Partnership for Educational Progress (PEP) is a charitable foundation that works with Glenbard School District 87 and its feeder elementary districts to provide enrichment opportunities for all students. Last year year, the PEP Foundation awarded grants worth $1,500 to four projects that will help CCSD 89 students develop financial awareness, manage their anxiety, improve handwriting, and understand resource scarcity. The annual Partnership for Educational Progress Grant Program is supported by tax-deductible gifts contributed by individuals and businesses, and through other fundraising activities. Since 1992, the PEP Foundation has awarded more than 440 teacher grants worth more than $240,000.
