Twenty countries will be celebrated at CCSD 89 Cultural Fair on April 9
Residents are invited to learn about traditions and customs from around the world at the Community Consolidated School District 89 Cultural Fair. The event will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, at Glen Crest Middle School.
Twenty different countries will be celebrated at the fair. Hundreds of visitors will be able to visit the more than 30 tables that will be set up throughout the Glen Crest gym. The cultural presentations will include artifacts, clothing, crafts, food, information, photos, and much more.
Throughout the night, there will be dances on the stage representing five different countries. There will also be a Korean martial arts demonstration and Henna art.
The event is free and open to the community.
