Band, chorus, and orchestra will perform at spring concerts

CCSD 89 musicians will be performing at several spring concerts. All concerts are free and open to the community.

Spring orchestra concert: May 12

On Friday, May 12, the CCSD 89 orchestras will perform in the auditorium at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.

The fourth- and fifth-grade students will perform at 6 p.m. Middle school students will perform at 7 p.m.

The concerts will celebrate the full scope of orchestra music – from “Hot Cross Buns” to “Rosin Eating Zombies from Outer Space”.

Spring band concert: May 16

On Tuesday, May 16, the CCSD 89 bands will perform in the auditorium at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.

The fifth-grade band will perform at 6 p.m. The sixth-grade band will perform at 7 p.m. The seventh-and-eighth-grade band performance will begin at 8 p.m. 

Spring chorus concert: May 19

At 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19, the CCSD 89 chorus will perform in the gym at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn.
