Community invited to enjoy upcoming winter music concerts

The month of December will be filled with musical performances as Community Consolidated School District 89 students share their talent and hard work with the community. All the events are free.

December 8: Chorus concert at Glen Crest

At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 8, the Glen Crest chorus will hold its winter chorus concert at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn.

December 13: Band concerts at Glenbard South

The winter band concerts will be held Tuesday, December 13, at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn. The fifth-grade band will play at 6 p.m., followed by the sixth grade band at 7 p.m. The seventh-and-eighth-grade band will play at 8 p.m.

December 14: Orchestra concerts at Glenbard South

The winter orchestra concerts will be held Wednesday, December 14, at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn. The fifth- and sixth-grade orchestras will play at 6 p.m. The seventh- and eighth-grade orchestras, as well as the chamber orchestra, will play at 7:30 p.m.
