CCSD 89 monitoring SeeSaw accounts after parent account breach

Community Consolidated School District 89 is monitoring SeeSaw accounts after multiple districts nationwide reported that parent accounts had sent inappropriate messages to teacher accounts.

At this time, the district does not believe any CCSD 89 accounts have been affected. The district has reached out to SeeSaw and will continue to monitor the situation.

If parents or staff become aware of an issue with SeeSaw, they can enter information about the problem at:

SeeSaw in an online classroom tool that is used by kindergarten and first grade students in CCSD 89. On Wednesday, SeeSaw reported that several districts had identified breaches in their parent accounts. The compromised parent accounts sent inappropriate images and/or messages to teachers.

Anyone who receives an inappropriate message can delete it.
