How to support children with questions about Ukraine

Like people around the world, many CCSD 89 families have been watching news about Ukraine. Of course, children of all ages often become aware of world events and process that information in different ways.

Please monitor your children for signs of distress. If your student is struggling, let our staff social workers and psychologists assist. We will support your children in any way we can.

If you are looking for some words on how to discuss these issues with your children, we have posted resources from the National Association of School Psychologists on our website, at www.ccsd89.org/talkingtochildren
