Celebrate the community’s diversity at the April 13 Cultural Fair

Residents are invited to learn about traditions and customs from around the world at the Community Consolidated School District 89 Cultural Fair. The event will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn.

The Cultural Fair will be an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and rich cultures of the families and staff in CCSD 89. The Glen Crest gym will be filled with families sharing their cultural heritage from many countries, including: Bolivia, China, Egypt, Honduras, India, Lithuania, Mexico, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Scotland, the United States, Vietnam, and more!

The cultural presentations will include artifacts, clothing, crafts, food, information, photos, and more. There will be traditional dancing and bagpipe presentations for families to enjoy. 

The event is free and open to the community.
