Enjoy student musical performances at the Music Café on April 15

The talent and hard work of Community Consolidated School District 89 musicians will be on display at the fourth annual Music Café. The Music Café will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn. The event is open to the community.

The Music Café will include performances from band, orchestra, and chorus students from several different grade levels.  You can learn more about the Music Café from these students: https://youtu.be/H3nXRxYfEr0

In addition to the music performances, guests will be able to enjoy coffee and a continental breakfast. The Music Café raises money for instruments and sheet music for all CCSD 89 students as well as scholarships, accompanists, transportation, instrument repairs, and more for band, chorus, and orchestra students.

This year, there will also be raffle prizes available, including: passes to Scrims Gaming, Get Air, and summer camps; music lessons; food prizes; and staff experiences.

Music Café tickets are $6 each, or $20 for four. A ticket gives access to the Music Café throughout the day. You can purchase tickets at:  https://www.ccsd89mba.com/event-info/2023-d89-music-cafe
