Glen Ellyn looking to hire crossing guard for Park View intersection

The Glen Ellyn Police Department is looking to hire a crossing guard who can help Park View students get to school safely.

The crossing guard would help students cross Park Boulevard at the Sheehan Avenue stoplight before and after the school day.

The position is from 8:20 to 8:50 a.m. and 3:30 to 4 p.m., five days a week when school is in session (no weekends, holidays, or summer).

Crossing guards are managed through the Glen Ellyn Police Department. Crossing guards are provided with training and equipment. The pay starts at $29 per hour.
