CCSD 89 band, orchestra students earn honors at state competition
Twenty five Glen Crest musicians and two Park View students earned honors at the recent Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGSMA) District VII solo and ensemble contest. Four students, including two Park View fifth-graders, earned perfect scores. The following students earned recognition:

The contest held virtually the first week of December. CCSD 89 teachers Katie Berry, Lev Garbar, Kristi Kline, and Andrew Ladendorf are proud of the hard work and dedication of all the students who participated.
