The Board unanimously approved the calendar at the regular meeting on December 16.
Start date not aligned with Glenbard 87
For the 2020-21 school year, the start date for CCSD 89 will not align with Glenbard District 87. Over the past few years, Glenbard District 87 has moved up the start of its school year so students can finish finals before winter break. As the date has moved earlier, CCSD 89 families raised questions about whether the calendars need to be aligned. After sending a survey to all families in CCSD 89, the Board agreed to start approximately a week after Glenbard District 87.
