The community is invited to donate blood at Glen Crest Middle School on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. The blood drive will be open from 2 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the school at 725 Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn.

Local residents can get free help filing their taxes at a Sunday, February 24, event hosted by CCSD 89 and the College of DuPage. College of DuPage students will help prepare tax forms from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., at Park View Elementary.

Families with students who will be new to Community Consolidated School District 89 or starting kindergarten in 2019-20 may now begin the pre-registration process. Community Consolidated School District 89 is hosting a family benefit night at the PDQ restaurant, 167 Danada Square, Wheaton, from 4 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5. All proceeds from the event will go to the CCSD 89 PEP Fund.
