Pre-registration for 2021-22 kindergartners and new students is now open
Families with students who will be starting kindergarten or new to Community Consolidated School District 89 in the 2021-22 school year can begin the pre-registration process on Wednesday, February 10. Registration for returning students will open April 7.

District monitoring severe weather expected to arrive Monday evening
CCSD 89 is monitoring the reports for severe weather that is forecast for Monday night into Tuesday morning. If school buildings would need to be closed for a “snow day”, all students would participate in remote learning on Tuesday.

All CCSD 89 schools are closed Monday, January 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School will resume on a hybrid schedule on Tuesday, January 19.

CCSD 89 students can return to classrooms starting January 11
All CCSD 89 students who plan to participate in the district’s in-person learning will be able to return to the buildings starting January 11. Students will resume hybrid learning on the same schedule that was in place in the fall. Students still have the option to learn remotely.

Remote learning will resume January 5 after winter break
After winter break, all CCSD 89 students will resume remote learning on Tuesday, January 5. Students will learn remotely Tuesday through Friday that week.
