Mrs. Mubeen Husain

I'm a native of Philadelphia and have been an educator since 2006! I have lived all over the east coast including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and now family has brought me to Illinois! I joined the Glen Crest family in 2021 as a 6th grade social studies teacher. I love teaching middle grades and I have a passion for inquiry-based learning which promotes critical thinking in social studies to make it more applicable in our childrens' lives. 

I love spending quality time with my husband, son, and two daughters. In my free time, I enjoy interior decorating (I absolutely love anything modern rustic!), baking chocolate chip cookies, and having a good laugh with my friends.
